Dr. Vladimir Frayfeld is the author of the groundbreaking creep-rupture life (CRL) prediction method at the core of CRL Solutions Consulting. This innovative approach reflects his decades-long persistence in tackling one of Materials Science and Mechanics of Deformable Solids toughest challenges—predicting the longevity of high-temperature metallic materials. Over the past few years, Dr. Frayfeld has refined and validated this method, rigorously verifying its accuracy to deliver reliable, cutting-edge results.

His academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Aviation Engine Technology from Samara State Aerospace University, followed by a Ph.D. in Mechanics of Deformable Solids from Samara State Technical University, both in Samara, Russian Federation, completed in 1994. Dr. Frayfeld's research interests focus on CRL prediction for high-temperature materials, complemented by deep expertise in reliability, applied statistics, and design of experiments.

Throughout his career, he has contributed to both scientific and industrial sectors, working with organizations such as the Institute of Materials in Lviv, Ukraine, Knowles Electronics LLC, CNH America LLC/Burr Ridge Operations, and Caterpillar Inc. in the USA. Dr. Frayfeld's profound knowledge and practical experience make him uniquely qualified to lead this innovative approach to material longevity prediction.
